CGIL (General Coordination of Labor Immigration)
For the past four months, the number of permits issued for work and investment purposes has been consistently increasing, indicating an upward trend (Graph 1).
In September, high-school graduate workers received the highest number of concessions (Graph 2).
In contrast to the overall trend, there was a reduction in the number of permits granted to skilled workers in the month of September, as depicted in Graph 3.

CTPS/RAIS/NOVO CAGED
Harmonized database Work and Social Security Card (CTPS)/Annual Report of Social Information (RAIS)/New General Register of Employed and Unemployed Persons (CAGED)
In August, there was an increase in the movement of immigrant workers in the formal market, accompanied by a rise in the number of job vacancies compared to the same month of the previous year and last July (Graph 4).
The highest volume of job creation was observed for workers with a high school education level (Graph 5).
The South and Southeast regions were the primary regions that experienced the highest movement of immigrant workers and created the most job vacancies (Map 1).

STI (International Traffic System)
In September, cross-border movements experienced a slight reduction for the second consecutive month (Graph 6). This result further
suggests a higher number of exits in cross-border movements, indicating a continued trend.
Graph 7 reveals that Argentineans constituted the primary nationality crossing the Brazilian borders, whereas Venezuelans exhibited the largest positive balance in terms of movements.

SisMigra (National Migration Registry System)
The number of registered immigrants in September decreased by 11.2% compared to the previous month (Graph 8). While all categories experienced a reduction, the most significant decrease was observed in resident registrations, which declined by 21.0% as indicated in Graph 9.
Venezuelans and Bolivians were the main nationalities to obtain registrations in September month, with Haitians occupying only the eighth position (Map 2).

STI-MAR (International Traffic System - Warning and Restrictions Module)
The number of applications for recognition of refugee status in September exhibited an increase compared to both the previous year (6.7%) and the previous month (32.3%), as depicted in Graph 10.
This performance is directly linked to the rise in applications by Venezuelans, especially among individuals under 15 years old and those aged between 25 and 40 years old (Graph 11).

The number of visa issuances in September experienced a decrease compared to August (-9.8%), but a significant increase compared to the same month of the previous year (112.7%), as illustrated in Graph 12.
Chinese and Indians were the nationalities that received the highest number of visas granted in September (Map 3).
Visitor visas, followed by work and family reunification visas, were the most issued in the month (Graph 13).
